At the end of last week, on July 20, a new race of the marathon took place in Oltenia Province. It was, at the same time, the first national competition, for which it was launched from Lubartow in Poland.

541 breeders from Oltenia, members of the Dolj, Olt, Gorj, Mehedinți and Vâlcea branches participated in the Lubartow National competition. They basketed a total of 3,638 pigeons, which were released at 06:22.

Dan Nedelcu has a resounding victory in his records

The big winner of the Lubartow national competition is Dan Nedelcu, a young pigeon fancier from Olt county in love with the marathon races. He participated in the Lubartow race with a team of 13 pigeons and managed to win 1st place on the launch with the help of hen RO-2022-1325365. Dan Nedelcu's winner arrived at the loft at 20:50:22, crossing the 802 km distance of the contest with an average speed of 924.72 m/min.

It must be said that Lubartow National was a very difficult competition, only 5 pigeons out of all those entered managed to reach the lofts on the first day of the competition.
