Exceptional results for Romanian pigeon fanciers at the European Cup

We are already used to the results of Romanian pigeon fanciers at the international level being very good, and the year 2025 is no exception to the "rule". Thus, at the Central and Eastern European Cup, which took place at the beginning of February, Romanian pigeon fanciers obtained several top results. 

This year's edition of the Central and Eastern European Cup was dedicated to the pigeon fancier results of the 2023 and 2024 seasons and, as is well known, pigeons from the FCI member countries are classified in nine distance categories within this international exhibition. This year, the European Cup was held in Hungary, during February 01-02.

Romanian pigeon fansciers have won 7 international awards. Two places of 1 international

The performance of Romanian pigeon fanciers at this edition of the European Cup was one of the best in the history of our country. Thus, fanciers from Romania have won no less than 7 international trophies, including two European champions! In the A-Speed ​​category, Romania takes 2nd place with a pigeon of fancier Constantin Popa, from Bacău. In the E-Marathon category, the Dima Family (Brăila) and Tess Top Pigeons (Vaslui) take the 2nd and 3rd places internationally. In the I-Long distance category, the Sîrghi Brothers, from Vrancea, take 3rd place, and in the F-Youngsters and G-Yearlings categories, Romania is the European champion, thanks to pigeon fanciers Anghel Mihai (Argeș) and Glodan Ciprian & Haidu B. (Maramureș). Also in category F, the tandem of Matei N. + Cojanu M. Alex (Prahova) took 3rd place.  

With these results we can only say that we are proud and happy, at the same time congratulating the pigeon fanciers who took the name of our country so high!
