My name is Norbert Tűri, and in Hungary, I compete within the Aranyhom Members Association. My specialty lies in short and medium-distance races, and over the years, I have dedicated myself with perseverance to perfecting the methods and technology used to train pigeons for these distances.
Ten years ago, I dreamed of having a large flock with which I could compete in races and win championships at various distances. With this goal in mind, I visited numerous renowned and successful pigeon families in Belgium, the Netherlands, and Germany, seeking elite specimens capable of passing on their extraordinary qualities through several generations.
I am convinced that success in competitions is based on a solid foundation, which is why I created my own breeding center, designed to provide optimal conditions for the breeding and development of my pigeons. In my separate breeding facilities, I raise pigeons from short-distance to marathon levels, ensuring that each has the appropriate environment.
Each year, I start the season with a group of 200-250 young pigeons. They participate in 25-27 training flights in their first year. At one year old, when they are transferred to the racing loft, they are capable of flying distances of 350-400 km and participate in 8 races. By the end of the year, only the best remain, with selection made strictly based on their performance. These pigeons become members of the competition team for the following year.
At two years old, these well-trained and selected pigeons are capable of exceptional performances and are worthy of winning awards. The proof of this lies in the results of the last 9 years, during which my pigeons have won 1st place seven times, 2nd place twice, and also reached 3rd place.
I am extremely satisfied with their performance, which is why I recommend them with confidence. I have very good references from my fellow breeders, who have made significant progress with my pigeons in various places.
Over time, I have experimented with numerous genetic combinations, and my pigeons have demonstrated exceptional genetic inheritance. Their parents and grandparents were highly competitive in their home countries, and these qualities will certainly reappear in future generations.
