SG Weis, Lauer, and Huber: A Successful Trio at the 2022 National Marseille

The trio consisting of SG Weis, Lauer, and Huber, who competed at the 2022 National Marseille, is relatively unknown in Romania but highly regarded in the international pigeon racing community, particularly due to their remarkable performances during the 2022 season.

The Beginnings of a Successful Partnership
The story of this trio began a few years ago, when the three enthusiasts of long-distance races decided to collaborate. This decision proved to be inspired, as they achieved outstanding results in a relatively short period.

From the outset, they realized that success in marathon competitions, especially international ones, depends on strong pigeons with valuable genetics. Thus, they invested in elite breeders, acquiring birds from renowned fanciers such as Bernd Morsnowski, Menne & Tochter, Rutz & Söhne, and Freialdenhofen & Söhne.

Climbing the Path to Success
The year 2021 was promising for SG Weis, Lauer, and Huber, as they managed to achieve significant awards at the national level. However, this period turned out to be just a prelude to the remarkable successes of 2022. In that year, in addition to two top results in the national championship, where they placed 2nd and 6th at the National Female Marathon, they also secured 1st place at the prestigious National Marseille.

The Challenge of the Marseille Race
The Marseille race is considered one of the most challenging in Germany. Often, the speed of the first pigeon arriving does not exceed 900 m/min, highlighting the difficulty of the route and the demanding conditions. In 2022, the winner of this race recorded a speed of just 872 m/min, confirming the competition's rigorous nature.

Transportation costs (both domestic and international) will be paid directly to the carriers.

The transportation rates are as follows

• International transport: 250 RON (50 EUR) per pigeon, for deliveries outside Romania.
• External transport: 125 RON (25 EUR) per pigeon for deliveries from Europe to Romania.
• Home delivery: 250 RON (50 EUR) per pigeon.
• Domestic transport within Romania: 75 RON (15 EUR) per pigeon.

Pigeons will be delivered only to county residences, except in cases where the buyer's residence is more than 25 km away from the designated meeting point. In such cases, the courier will recalculate the cost and arrange delivery within the 25 km radius.

Meeting points:

• Supermarket parking lot
• Gas station parking lot

Meetings on the roadside, at roundabouts, intersections, etc., are excluded.

The courier is required to notify the buyer one day before delivery and again 1.5 to 2 hours before arriving at the meeting point. Upon request and for an additional cost of 5 RON, pigeons can be delivered in a cardboard box.

Delivery times:

• 1-7 days from the date of collection for deliveries within Romania.
• 1-10 days for international deliveries.

Working hours:
Monday - Sunday, from 07:00 to 23:00.

During transportation, the pigeons are considered the property of the courier, who is directly responsible for their well-being. If a pigeon does not meet clinical standards (is unhealthy or weak), the courier is obligated to refuse collection from the seller and immediately inform the auction site's management. Any issues caused by the courier will be financially compensated by them.
