Viorel Slăniceanu: Outstanding Achievements in Pigeon Racing at the National Level

Viorel Slăniceanu, a young pigeon racing enthusiast from Arad, stands out as one of Romania's most promising Olympians in Category G, being a member of the National Team.

Specialized in short-distance competitions, Slăniceanu showcased exceptional talent from the very beginning, benefiting from the support of high-quality birds provided by his close friend, Marta Daniel.

The year 2022 marked a turning point in his career, as he ranked in the national top 10 in the Young Speed category. In the following year, 2023, he continued to achieve remarkable results alongside Bartoș Iștvan, a renowned pigeon racer known for his elite breeding line recognized across the country.

The year 2024 brought new extraordinary performances, with the Slăniceanu & Bartoș team securing seven placements in the top 20 at the national level. These achievements confirm the high standards of their breeding station and their dedicated efforts.

The national results achieved in 2024 are as follows:

• 2nd, 3rd, 5th, 8th, 16th, 18th, 19th places - Young Speed Category
• 2nd place - Speed Breeder Category
• 2nd place - Speed Breeder Palmares Category

The descendants of elite pigeons, sourced from renowned Belgian breeders, compete successfully from the village of Seleuș under the Slăniceanu & Bartoș title. Moreover, even in their first year of competitions for young pigeons, they managed to create a true "sensation" in the pigeon racing world.

Through these outstanding results, Viorel Slăniceanu and his partner, Bartoș Iștvan, demonstrate that passion, perseverance, and the genetic quality of the pigeons are the keys to success in this sport.

Transportation costs (both domestic and international) will be paid directly to the carriers.

The transportation rates are as follows

• International transport: 250 RON (50 EUR) per pigeon, for deliveries outside Romania.
• External transport: 125 RON (25 EUR) per pigeon for deliveries from Europe to Romania.
• Home delivery: 250 RON (50 EUR) per pigeon.
• Domestic transport within Romania: 75 RON (15 EUR) per pigeon.

Pigeons will be delivered only to county residences, except in cases where the buyer's residence is more than 25 km away from the designated meeting point. In such cases, the courier will recalculate the cost and arrange delivery within the 25 km radius.

Meeting points:

• Supermarket parking lot
• Gas station parking lot

Meetings on the roadside, at roundabouts, intersections, etc., are excluded.

The courier is required to notify the buyer one day before delivery and again 1.5 to 2 hours before arriving at the meeting point. Upon request and for an additional cost of 5 RON, pigeons can be delivered in a cardboard box.

Delivery times:

• 1-7 days from the date of collection for deliveries within Romania.
• 1-10 days for international deliveries.

Working hours:
Monday - Sunday, from 07:00 to 23:00.

During transportation, the pigeons are considered the property of the courier, who is directly responsible for their well-being. If a pigeon does not meet clinical standards (is unhealthy or weak), the courier is obligated to refuse collection from the seller and immediately inform the auction site's management. Any issues caused by the courier will be financially compensated by them.
