Gherasim Marius and Dobanda Marius form a well-known tandem in Iași County, and although they began collaborating relatively recently, in 2019, their remarkable results soon began to emerge.
From the outset, the two have demonstrated a profound passion for the marathon category, focusing on the most prominent champions in Romania. This strategy, based on the descendants of elite pigeons, quickly propelled them onto the national columbophile stage.
The year 2023 marked the pinnacle of their columbophile career, achieving second place nationally in the AS Maraton Extrem Tineret category and third place in the Maraton Extrem Palmares.
Additionally, they have achieved outstanding results in other competitions, ranking in the national TOP 10 and accumulating numerous placements on county and provincial podiums. Their remarkable performances have solidified their reputation in the columbophile community, earning the respect and admiration of their peers. It is evident that their dedicated approach and unwavering commitment to the sport have been essential factors in their continued success.
